STUDENTS' LAST DAY IN THE ACADEMY

Plan for the day:

Lessons 1-3: cultural world tour themed lessons.

Early lunch followed by the ‘festival’ on the field.

Students can wear cultural dress, festival wear or their uniform/PE kit if preferred – please can we request no crop tops, swimwear, bra tops, bikinis or hot pants.

Bring a picnic by all means and a blanket. There will be lots of activities for students to take part in, for example: volleyball, lacrosse, face painting, karaoke, archery, mindfulness, archaeology, disc golf, Pétanque, orienteering, rockets, bracelet making, bowling and much more to experience!

There will be an ice cream van on site (students will need to bring in some money for this bit).

Phones will be unlocked at 2.00pm, ready for students to leave at 2.10pm – arrangements for the buses are as follows:

The contracted school buses will be there at 2.10pm to take students home, except for the SC707. As the SC707 is a public bus, this has to stick to the published timetable and will be leaving at 3:20pm as usual.

Students can be looked after in school until 3.10pm if parents request this. Please contact us via email: [email protected] to confirm if this will be required.
