2024 Exam Results Rise

Time to celebrate……

Students and staff at Ormiston Sudbury Academy are thrilled with their GCSE results, as they celebrate all their hard work.

This year’s results show a very significant increase in the number of students achieving good passes (5+) and top grades (7-9)

Holly Kirwan and Atuh Tangunyi achieved top grades across 8 subjects. Alex Mos has an impressive collectsion of high grades which will help him on his way to achieve his ambition to study Computing at Cambridge. Grace Stalker is heading to sixth form to study science in preparation for applying to study medicine, with top grades in English Maths and triple science subjects.

Many students made great progress across their 5 years at OSA, including Eli and Desi Ekponza whose final grade average was more than double that predicted by their starting points. Valerii Voitenko passed English Literature and achieved really good grades in Maths and Science, despite having only moved to the UK a few years ago.

Ormiston Sudbury Academy prides itself on its ability to support and challenge its students to find and fulfil their academic potential, leaving school with the best set of qualifications they can.

Sally Morris, Principal, says:

“Our Year 11 students are a wonderful group of young people who have worked exceptionally hard to get great results. They are now able to take up their first choice courses at Sixth Forms and Colleges in Suffolk and Essex.

“The entire team at Ormiston Sudbury has been celebrating with them, proud of their exam success and of all they have contributed to the life of the school in their years with us. We wish them every success in the next phase of their education.”
