Ormiston Sudbury Academy students celebrate GCSE successes

After two years of hard work and studying, students at the academy have shared their joy in taking home the well-deserved results.

The Year 11 cohort achieved particularly highly in subjects including performing arts, languages, mathematics and science.

The whole school community has come together today to mark the students’ achievements, hard work, and dedication, as they now prepare to take their next steps in education.

While all students have achieved well, some individual achievements include:

  • Lucas Martin who achieved eight 8 and 9 grades.
  • Felix Cookson who was awarded seven 8 and 9 grades.
  • Justin Noynay who achieved grades 7 and above in eight subjects.
  • Dania Goncalves who secured grade 9s in both English language and literature alongside Distinction*s in childcare and music.

At Ormiston Sudbury Academy, every student is supported to flourish academically, socially, and personally through a broad and balanced curriculum complemented by excellent pastoral care and rich personal development opportunities. Our community cultivates resilience, integrity and courtesy, preparing young people to thrive and contribute positively both within the Academy and beyond. As part of Ormiston, the academy is dedicated to providing the highest quality education and ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, gains the skills and opportunities they need to thrive.

“We cannot wait to see all they will achieve as they move forward into their next chapter – whatever path they choose, we’re confident they will continue to excel and make their mark.
We are immensely proud of our Year 11 students at Ormiston Sudbury Academy. Their success truly reflects their dedication, resilience, and hard work, supported wholeheartedly by their families and our committed staff.”
